1980's Galanos Black Lace Evening Gown.

This classic 80's silhouette is a subtle statement piece made from perfectly preserved lace, patterned with cosmic black swirls topping a nude bodice and long, dolman sleeves. The shoulder pads are whisper light and stay put perfectly.

There is a shallow, lace lined V neck in front and a plunging lace lined V in back secured by two camoflauged covered snaps. For a deeper V, unsnap. The amazing dolman sleeves have small zippers at cuffs.

The detailing at the waist is genius. Black satin silk ribbon with a bow is artfully placed at the center of the waist, creating a slight, figure flattering detail and clasps in the back. The stretchy black fabric is expertly gathered at the waist and gives way to a gorgeous, rouched skirt.

The beautiful construction of the skirt deserves some attention...the generously rouched sides create a safe space for any figure, and it's finished at the bottom with a second layer of fabric with a slit for expert shimmy effect. Dramatic, flattering, eye catching, forgiving...everything.

Shoulder to shoulder 17", bust 32" resting for ample bosom or smaller chest, sleeve 21", waist 28", hips 32" resting , total length 57", skirt length 41".
