50's Blue Knit Halter Dress XS/S

1950's Seafoam Blue Hand Crochet Embellished Halter Dress.

Our model said this may have been her fave dress of the day and we couldn't agree more. This one of a kind custom beauty is a certainly head turner with all her sparkle and shine. 

The halter bodice is embellished with hand sewn pearls and diamond stones. Features include a side zipper that moves like butter, a mock neck fastened in back with two large pearl buttons, and a low back. The yarn is a gorgeous shade of blue and has silver threading running throughout. The interior support bustier has 7 hook fasteners and is adjustable.

The dropped waist skirt is a scalloped knit and there is a thin layer of tulle liner attached to the interior of the skirt. Knit is gathered at the waist, giving way to a gorgous, softly pleated full skirt. 

All the pearls and stones are accounted for and she is in amazing shape. The bustier lining is a bit stained, but that's to be expected given her age.

Mock neck 14" around, bust 30", waist 25", hips 30", drop waist 36", length 47".  

Modern size is XS/S and condition is Excellent. This item has been antique dry cleaned.
